Doing a 13-hour bus tour with two girls (aged 8 and 10 at the time) may not sound like a good idea but the day could not have gone better (well, outside of the HORRIBLE tourists we encountered - but, that's another story). We were amazingly lucky with our encounters. In this shot, we saw the alpha female (they only collar the alpha pair) as she looked back at us on the road. We also had a wonderful experience watching two season's of pups play. It's likely that they were that season's pups being babysat by their adolescent siblings from the prior season.
